Demand it your way at Burger King
With all due respect to Flava Flav, sometimes 911 isn't to blame for being a joke. From Food 911 to Nanny 911, TV has done a pretty good job of redefining "emergency."
Currently making its way around the internet is this hilarious audio clip of a woman calling 911 because the Burger King drive-through screwed up her order. Just listen to the sense of entitlement in the woman's voice and wonder at the dispatcher's ability to remain polite and professional.

that just makes me want to cry.
i live near laguna niguel and san clemente ca and the overblown sense of entitlement is definitley on the rise here. once you have everything you ever wanted handed to you without ever seeing the repercussions first hand... you end up calling 911 for a cheeseburger.
i mean, why not? right? i pay taxes! they should help me.

I thought it might be insidiously viral also, Max, but it slams the Burger King dining experience too much.
Plus, as Snopes.com points out, (in the course of verifying that it is an authentic 2-year old call to Orange County 911), the "Western Barbecue Cheeseburger" is not a Burger King menu item. Even if they were going viral, they would get the name of their product right.

Wonder if this woman called 911 from the gas station to say that we sent troops over to Iraq and we deserve cheap gas now.

Wow, Jilian, lighten up. Me thinks you've got a case of the "p.c. blues" that somehow continue to hamper so many "liberals" in our country (these same people find "Sex & The City" liberating. .I don't fucking get it). Mentally ill people are, quite simply, hilarious, same as their sane counterparts.
