Jews Gone Wild!

Jdatead2_1And they say the Jews are repressed. Sunday's New York Times had this advertisement for JDate - apparently, your source for kosher three-way action.

Happy Holidays, indeed.

saw a billboard for jdate on times square on a recent visit to NYC and it puzzled me at first. i started to imagine a world with dating services for other exclusive groups and how they would play on huge billboards. like what about a morman-only dating service that included one guy and a half dozen women, some in their teens. or how about one for NAMBLA? maybe there could be one specifically for white guys and asian girls.

i guess i just find the whole thing distasteful, though i really can't quite put my finger on why.

David, you're too late.
The all-Mormon dating service exists. It's run by Spark Networks - the same company that owns jdate and an Adventist-only site, a site for "Big Beautiful Women and Admirers" and a general Canadian bestiality site. Is there a story in here for Stay Free!?

Just because, there are also Republican and Democrat dating sites.

At least one pair of sites (republicansingles.com and democratsingles.com) is run by the same company.

I can only hope they have their databases cross-wired. :)

Love In War is sort of an Orkut/Fuckster/MySpace for "political folks can sign up, post pictures, blog, find dates, find friends and well, be around(virtually!) with other political animals". Personally, I find it a bit, well, oily to set up a personals site around the Iraq war, even to oppose it.
