One Love, One Bank

Oh, I'm crying here...

At first, you might think this is just another hilariously awful corporate anthem (in this case, for Bank of America). But listen close and you'll hear a satirical skewering of the entire body of music called alternative rock. This guy sounds just like an alt.rock star. And with all of his bogus emotion and studied posturing, he could be singing about ANYTHING: world love, Jesus, corporate mergers ... sure, he can do that.

(Thanks, Jay Boucher)

The most painful thing about watching this is that he just sings what a-holes like this say to you (if you're in the unfortunate situation of being around people like this). "Do you like the cowboys? Your university? So you like the yankees? Is Nascar more your speed?" I thought he was going to sing about the weather next, followed by an uncomfortable silence due to us having nothing in common.

My cat usually shows no interest in the computer, but she just jumped up on the desk and tried to smack that guy.

Ok, I work for Bank of America, and this was embarassing for even ME to watch, but just to clarify on the whole "Do you like the cowboys? Your university? So you like the yankees? Is Nascar more your speed?" thing: We are promoting a new Affinity Credit Card and you can get your favorite college, collge football team, nascar driver, etc. put on the card's face. So hopefully that gives you some incite into what the hell this guy is talking about. LMAO! ....so if you guys are interested, stop by and see me cuz I get "Spirit Points" for each card I get activated!! Hahaha :o)
