Give a penny. That is an order.
Aren't pennies annoying? They clog your pockets during the day and annoy your significant other as your end-of-day pocket dump results in a pile of copper that can be put up for bid on the Commodities Exchange.
Is there a solution? Finally, yes. Stay Free! crossword constructor Francis Heaney found a restaurant that has decided to solve the problem for you. By rounding up.
This will come as a great relief to those among us who get antsy when their credit card bill isn't divisible by a nickel.

That's nothing. An official statement from the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC said that for the convenience of their patrons they will round up all sales to the nearest dollar. So that $7.25 pint of Guinness is now $8.00. Gee thanks but you still have to tip the barkeep on top of that so $9 beers is much more convenient than having to carry around all those quarters don't you think?

Why not round up to the nearest $100?

It could always be a mob payoff, it's Brooklyn right?

That's special? Here in Australia the 'penny' was gotten rid of over 20 years ago and since then every bill is rounded DOWN to the nearest 5--unless you're paying by credit card!
